Resin groundwork base designed to be placed benath a 15mm T-34 tank casting. Represents dug-in fortified position below a knocked out tank. This was a common way to create a fortified position out of battle-damaged tanks. This was especially prevalent during the battle of Kursk. Casting is photographed without the tank casting across it, so the interior is visible.
